Hi guys,

I love going to drugstores and just merely browsing through the makeup and nail products side for whats the latest and don’t forget, the cheapest finds you can get here! I’ve been wanting to try the Ciate Caviar nails but i find it a bit too expensive and i am sure that after some time, nail cults would come out a much more affordable version.

Voila! Model’s Own Artstix Nail Beads in Black! (Of course, i have to get it in black! Haha!) this bottle costs $10.90 was $12.00 something here in Guardian versus $20++ for Ciate ones in Sephora. All i needed was a bottle of black nail polish, clear top coat ( i used the fast dry top coat from China Glaze which i got from Dyon in Somerset), a container where i can tap my beads and return the excess back to the bottle, and lastly, patience!

It was very easy to do this nail art! I did watch some videos on youtube on how to do it, and they say you can do it in 2 ways. But before everything, you need to paint your nails with a top coat first (which i skipped this part haha), then apply one coat of the colored nail polish on all of your nails.
When you finish, reapply the 2nd coat one nail at a time. After applying the 2nd coat, you can either; option 1: pour gently the beads on the wet nail while ensuring everything is covered or option 2: pour the nail beads into your container and with your wet nail facing the beads, press it against it going side to side to get it all on your nail and tap off the excess. After doing any of the two, press the beads to your nail and let it dry for 15 minutes or more then continue to finish all the nails. Afterwards, brush a bit of the clear top coat on the edge of your nail for the beads to not be easily remove.

I personally liked the finish and just did it with one nail so i wont easily get tired looking at it. Haha. Anyways, let me know if youve tried this or what you guys think!

love,
Louise
