Comme Des Garcons X Victoria Sneakers

Comme Des Garcons X Victoria Denim Sneakers

One thats a simple addition to my everyday work life is this Comme Des Garcons X Victoria denim sneakers collaboration. Theyre basically denim fabric sneakers with the original Victoria sneakers style look. It reminds me of my childhood sneakers that ive always been fond of. Theyre soft and easy to run with cause of the rubber soles (slip-proof!). Just a brother for my CDG white sneakers, it goes really well with just a throw on whatever look especially when im in a hurry.

That Blue Tote

JIL SANDER Men’s Blue Tote

I fell in love when i saw this handsome tote from Jil Sander today and just decided to buy. It was on a very good deal so i couldn’t say no. Yes, he is handsome cause i got him from the men’s section. This blue butter soft leather is unlined and large, and made in Italy. I love that i can just stuff anything in it and its so spacious. It also has a big zipper behind for stashing your small stuff (like cards, coins, oil blotting paper lol). One last cool thing about it, it matches my outfit today!

I’m wearing:
Zara top
COS navy triangle bralette
Marc by Marc Jacobs light blue stretch jeans
H&M black transparent sandals
Dolce & Gabbana grey leather bracelet
Lovisa rings

World of Calvin

As part of my work as a Visual Merchandiser, I also do events and presentation. Last night was the World of Calvin private event held at the old Kallang Airport here in Singapore. It showcased the collection of the full Calvin Klein Fall 2014 range: from Calvin Klein Collection; the first line to which we just opened last Tuesday in Marina Bay Sands, Calvin Klein Platinum Label; the relabeling of CK Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Underwear, Calvin Klein Home and newly relaunched Calvin Klein Jeans.

The concept house built by renowned architect Josh Prince-Ramus is in the center of the rundown airport featuring the Calvin Klein range. Each room presents the corresponding brand; the bedroom, bathroom and pool for Underwear, the living and dining for the Calvin Klein Collection, and the entertainment room for the casual Calvin Klein Jeans. As usual Calvin Klein style, model installations were done and decided to hop in to the pool at the end. After all, they are all wearing Calvin Klein Underwear! Then they were joined by Kevin Carrigan in the pool (still in his suit!) for a photo. Designers of the brand Italo Zuchelli (Men’s Creative Director for Calvin Klein Collection), Francisco Costa (Women’s Creative Director for Calvin Klein Collection), and Kevin Carrigan (Creative Director for Calvin Klein Platinum Label, Jeans and Underwear) presented and mingled with all the guests. It was such an honor to work with Tal Plaisance (Vice President VM for Calvin Klein), Michael Tomei (Creative Services VM Manager for Calvin Klein) and of course, Dale Rozmiarek (Senior Vice President VM for Calvin Klein) for the whole store launching and setup of the event. Such a great feeling to see everything after all the busy week.
Honestly, after working hard so much, i do forget that i work in fashion but then during the event and seeing all the fabulous looking people clad mostly in Calvin Klein, i just realize, “well yes, i do work in fashion”.
On the other note, I decided to wear my Rua Du Mail chiffon top that im so in love with. I paired it with my black Alexander Wang linen pants and white and clear Calvin Klein sandals pumps, lastly added a touch of COS earrings. I did go for a smokey eyes look and nude lip to finish it.
It was such a fun night with champagne and chocolate mousse served throughout the event. It ended with loads of photos and guests hashtagging #calvinkleinlive.

Dessert-Filled Sunday!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Im doing a quick post today about a sweet, dessert-filled things that i enjoyed today. First of, me and Shane had lunch with my girl bff Grace who just came back from her big battle with Cancer and is looking great now! Oh ive missed her so much! We did loads of catch ups and laughs and enjoyed a simple meal. Then as me and Shane were heading our way to Zara, i just had to pop by Bath & Body Works with their recent launch of their Spring 2014 Sweet Shop Collection which is consist of dessert inspired scents in candles, hand soaps and pocketbac sanitizers. Heres the flavours:

Raspberry Peach Macaroon
Frosted Cupcake
Watermelon Lemonade
Red Velvet Cupcake
Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut
Strawberry Sorbet
Lemon Drops
Pink Lemonade Pound Cake
Lemon Chiffon Tart
Orange Creamsicle Swirl
Pink Vanilla Macaroon

My favorite one is the Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut but decided not to buy yet. A few of the scents are already gone but its worth checking cause they are on 2 for $50sgd for 3 wickle candles.

Then Shane took me to TWG to take me on sugar high! Got us the Napoleon Tea and Caramel (my fave!), Vanilla Bourbon, Camelot Tea & Praline and Matcha for $12 for 6 pieces. Oh their desserts just look so amazing! Ill try those next time.

So how did your sunday went? Hope it was lovely like mine!

Summer Sandals

As i was juggling all my groceries yesterday, i happen to see some nice summer sandals from Pull & Bear. I tried on the flat white with gold trimmings and the black and gold version but for me, it wasnt too perfect plus $69.00 tag isnt worth buying it. I know its technically okay to wear sandals here in Singapore all year round, but its just isnt that worth to buy. So i decided to look it up only and buy it in the UK store and send to my boyfriend, Shane. While i was scrolling, i happen to see this instead and i went, “WOW. That. I need that.” Im still thinking about if i should get it or not cause i still have my Topshop black beaded, brown Boho and M)phosis with gold band that looks kinda like that. Plus, the fact that ill be moving again at the end of the month. 😭 oh well, ill have a think and ill let you all know!
