NARS’ And God Created The Woman Palette & Ita Kabuki Brush

It has been a while since my lasts post! Ive been very busy with work and getting off from being poorly lately so before everything else goes cray cray again because Christmas is around the corner, I want to share this quick review with you all.

If you follow me in Facebook or Instagram, you would know that im engaged! 😊 So, as part of my addition for my wedding day makeup, ive decided to get “And God Created The Woman” palette from Nars.

The set includes:
6-well Eyeshadow palette: Bellisima II, Kalahari I, Night Clubbing
Alahambra I, Galapagos, Coconut Grove
Mini Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base
Travel size Wide Contour Brush #43

Priced at $80 in Sephora Singapore, it is an exclusive palette when they launched for the makeup shopping heaven. This palette was released last 2013, and rereleased again this 2014 due to its success and being very covetable.

I havent really thought of what kind of look ill be doing for my wedding, so that would be a surprise for you all!

And finally, I got my hands on the Ita Kabuki brush! I asked my fiancé to pick this up from Nars in Tokyo. It was ¥6500 which is NOT a cheap brush! Lol. But, my journey for having the best contoured cheeks should come to an end with this! Haha. Im planning to use this with my Chanel Soleil de Tan bronzer and a little bit of The Balm Bahama Mama which i just purchased again yesterday cause im already hitting the pan with the one I have!

So makeup base, checked!
Eye makeup, checked!
Contour & Bronzing, checked!

Few more to go! 😊

Have a great weekend everyone!

Urban Decay Shattered Face Case Palette Review

As part of my birthday haul, I was invited by my friend to go to a Sephora sale last month and I manage to get this… well amongst the few I also picked up. Hehe. So, this retailed at 75SGD last Fall’13 then dropped to 35SGD (as far as I can remember.. sorry!) which I wanted to buy last year but I unfortunately didn’t have the extra dough to do so.

This is a two-tier palette that can almost complete a whole face look. Almost all of the shades are exclusive and is such a great bargain specially if you need it for traveling.

Tier 1:

Eyeshadows (all exclusive):

  1. Nameless – medium gray brown satin finish
  2. Remix – rich purple shimmer with micro glitter
  3. Shakedown – deep brown gunmetal satin finish
  4. Minor Sin – champagne pink satin finish
  5. Bleach – yellow beige matte

  1. Urban Decay Travel Size 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero – basic black cream eyeliner pencil

Tier 2:

Blush (all exclusive):

  1. Overexposed – dusty rose leaning on brown
  2. Temper – soft baby pink

Highlighter (exclusive):

  1. Glint – soft beige pink shimmer

  1. Full Size Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Lovechild – creamy cool pink

Urban Decay’s eyeshadow pigmentation needs no explanation. Theyre tried and tested and wont let you down. As for the blush, you should have a light hand when applying it or else it’ll pack on and will make you look like a clown. While the highlighter appears to be lighter when applied. As for the lipgloss, I love the texture and doesn’t have a plumping ingredient which I like. The color might look strong but its a flattering pink that is great either day or night shade. Lastly, I wish that they placed in Perversion over Zero, is just that this eyeliner is a basic black while I love blackest black shade.

Over all I love this palette. This is a great one for me to bring when I travel as well as try more colors which is aside from browns, taupes, and golds. I recommend this although you cant get it anywhere anymore. Alhough, you can still get the eyeliner and lipglosses from Urban Decay.

Till the next post!
